In 2025, Disaronno – the world’s favourite Italian liqueur – celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 500 years of heritage, style, quality, and innovation, honoring the timeless essence of ‘Italian Dolcevita’.

To celebrate this incredible milestone, the brand is kicking off festivities with a five-bar takeover at this year’s Edinburgh Bar Show.

On 7 April, Disaronno will toast 500 years of ‘la dolce vita’ at The Devil’s Advocate, Edinburgh, where mixology masters from five of the UK’s most renowned bars will showcase Disaronno cocktails.

Expert bartenders from The Devil’s Advocate, The Absent Ear, Dram, Ego Death and Donovan Bar are set to create their finest serve interpretations of Disaronno, transporting drinkers to Italy with every sip.

Sweet, fruity and with a delicious warming sensation, Disaronno’s iconic almond flavour profile elevates spirits and serves, enhancing the pleasure of moments shared together. This takeover is sure to be a highlight of one of the on-trade calendar’s most anticipated events.

Aiste Valiukaite, Trade Marketing Manager, On-Trade at Disaronno, said: “Disaronno will be adding a slice of rich history and Italian excellence to the Edinburgh Bar Show experience, bringing the Scottish drinks trade community together over some exceptional serves.

“Edinburgh’s bar scene is especially vibrant, and we’re excited to see some of the city’s top bartending talent add some flair to favourite drinks with Disaronno. The brand’s five-bar takeover at The Devil’s Advocate is the place to be to experience some real mixology magic.

“We look forward to toasting the start of Disaronno’s 500th anniversary celebrations with cocktails worthy of the occasion!’

Founded in 2024 by the award-winning bartenders behind Edinburgh Cocktail Week and the city’s own World 50 Best Bar, Panda & Sons, the Edinburgh Bar Show is back for its second year.

The show’s agenda of seminars, bar takeovers, experiences and parties aim to connect and inspire the Scottish on-trade, making it the perfect place to showcase standout brands such as Disaronno to a community seeking quality.

Join Disaronno at The Devil’s Advocate, from 5-9pm on 7 April for delicious drinks and a taste of Italian luxury.
