Three managers with the pancake chain Stack & Still have graduated with Honours degrees in Business Management after completing Graduate Apprenticeships with Glasgow Caledonian University.
Group Head Chef Graeme Robertson, Operations Director Stuart Cameron and Assistant Manager Steven McShannon combined their daily roles with studying at GCU.
Stack & Still, launched in Glasgow in 2018, has six locations across Scotland and is the UK’s largest chain of urban pancake restaurants.
Paul Reynolds, the founder and CEO of Stack & Still, is a GCU alumnus and a former member of the University’s Court. He was the first in his family to go to university and currently has another six GCU Graduate Apprentices as part of his leadership team.
He said: “The Graduate Apprenticeship programme with GCU has brought significant advantages to our business by allowing talented team members to combine formal study with hands-on experience, deliver practical skills, fresh perspectives, and a deeper understanding of management that benefits day-to-day operations.
