Harrison Leisure (UK) Limited has added the purchase of Ardlui Resort to their growing family business which now own and operate 11 parks across the UK, a property marketing by the specialist Parks team at Colliers.
The acquisition is the group’s second purchase through the firm this year, following the acquisition of Crofthead Holiday Park in Ayr earlier in January, and is a further sign of their ambitious growth plans.
Ardlui has been in the same family ownership since 1978 and has only previously been sold once in its 250 years of operation. The resort consists of a 96 pitch holiday park, a 12 bedroom hotel and 100 berth marina with additional moorings on the loch and was offered for sale due to retirement. It was marketed through a bespoke campaign with a guide price of offers over £7 million.

Brian Squires who purchased the hotel in 1978 added: “We’ve had a lovely life looking after this corner of the Loch and sharing it with visitors and guests. I’m pleased that this legacy will be continued by Harrison Leisure, who has the same attitude and ethos to looking after the area as we have. We wish them the best of luck for the future.”
