This enhanced product offering further bolsters Oterra’s impressive portfolio of colours from natural sources.
In May 2021 Oterra announced its’ acquisition of SECNA Natural Ingredients Group S.L., who was one of the largest producers of color from caramelized sugar. Following the integration of SECNA into its portfolio, Oterra has added a full range of caramel products.
Oterra’s caramel range covers caramelized sugar, all four classes of caramel colors, and is available in liquid and powder forms. The extended range, available in an assortment of strengths, makes it ideal for use in a wide range of applications, including beverage, dairy, bakery, and confectionery, amongst others. All products are fully certified and accredited, including Non-GMO, Halal and Kosher, as well as Low 4-MEI options.
