ONE of Glasgow’s most popular venues, VEGA celebrates its 1st birthday this weekend, kicking off celebrations with a series of promotions and eye-watering figures. Located on the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow, the venue revealed it has welcomed a staggering amount of guests in its first year – over 100,000 people. An entertainment destination like no other, VEGA’s offering includes private karaoke, disco brunches and a ten-pin bowling alley – with over 40,000 games of bowling played in one year.

Taking over the seventh floor of YOTEL Glasgow, VEGA opened in July 2021, welcoming guests from Glasgow and beyond for an events programme like no other. VEGA also boasts floor to ceiling windows, guaranteeing stunning views of the city as the sun goes down. A highlight for every guest, VEGA’s immersive disco lift has featured in countless selfies and is a surefire way to start, or end, your night on a high.
Named after one of the brightest stars in the universe, VEGA has brightened up Glasgow’s night time economy with 13,700 square feet of rooftop space and a capacity of 282. The venue has welcomed over 100,000 guests to its unique space over the past year, and guests have played 40,000 games of bowling…VEGA’s future looks brighter than ever.
