Cabot Highlands brings together two links courses, waterside views and a clubhouse where visitors can linger over a meal after a round.
On the shores of the Moray Firth near Inverness, Cabot Highlands offers a base for exploring the Highlands as well as playing golf. Formerly known as Castle Stuart, the property is Cabot’s first UK destination and is home to two 18-hole courses: Castle Stuart Golf Links and the newer Old Petty.
Castle Stuart, designed by Mark Parsinen and Gil Hanse, makes the most of its coastal setting. Old Petty, designed by Tom Doak, winds beside a tidal estuary and close to the historic Castle Stuart. After welcoming golfers for preview play in 2025, it held its official opening in May 2026.cabothighlands+1
For visitors whose interests extend beyond the fairways, the art-deco-inspired clubhouse has a bar, restaurant and top-floor lounge. Breakfast is served until noon, with lunch and dinner available from noon to 8pm. The restaurant primarily serves visiting golfers; walk-ins may be accommodated, but space is not guaranteed.

There is also the option to stay on site. Castle Cottage, the Golf Lodge and the Farmhouse each accommodate up to eight guests, with lodging available to those playing at least one round. A continental breakfast is included with accommodation bookings.
With Inverness nearby, a stay could leave time to explore the city or head further into the Highlands. The property is around five minutes from Inverness Airport, making it a convenient starting point for a longer trip.
