Founder Rachel Hanretty said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive the Online Baker of the Year award. Creating memorable little moments for our customers, powered by our amazing team, has always been at the heart of what we do. Working with everyone from local companies to global brands has been truly inspiring, and we’re so grateful for this recognition.”

From Edinburgh kitchen to national acclaim
Founded in 2013 by Rachel Hanretty, Mademoiselle Macaron began life in a small Edinburgh kitchen before growing into a thriving e-commerce brand supplying clients such as American Express and Selfridges. The company gained national attention in 2023 when its brightly coloured macarons appeared on the set of the Barbie movie in London.
Now celebrating twelve years in business, Hanretty’s brand continues to blend Parisian flair with Scottish creativity, producing delicate, handcrafted macarons that have become synonymous with luxury gifting and modern indulgence.
