Glasgow’s dog-loving diners are in for a treat as El Santo Latin American Restaurant on Miller Street brings back its popular Paws & Brunch event for a third instalment this summer.
Taking place on Saturday 18 July from 12 noon to 3pm, the unique brunch experience is designed with both people and their four-legged companions in mind. The event is delivered in partnership with Sir Woofchester, a brand known for its premium canine hospitality offerings.
Dogs attending will be treated to their own indulgent afternoon tea, featuring an iced pupcake, bark bangers, a Paw Star Martini and a Woof Bar. Meanwhile, El Santo will ensure a relaxed and welcoming setting with blankets, water bowls and toys provided throughout, allowing pets to settle comfortably while their owners unwind.
Guests can enjoy three dishes from El Santo’s Latin-inspired tapas menu, alongside a glass of Prosecco on arrival or a soft drink alternative. A professional photographer will also be on hand to capture the occasion, giving attendees a lasting memento of the day.
The concept is the brainchild of El Santo Events Coordinator and dedicated dog lover, Vira Romashova, who has seen the event grow in popularity since its launch.
“We are really starting to build a following for this concept, with some customers coming back for a third time, as they have met and bonded with other dog lovers at the previous two brunches,” she said.

Romashova explained that the idea was inspired by her own experience of balancing social outings with dog ownership.
“Sometimes dog owners, and their dogs, find it difficult to fully relax when they are out socially. It can be the dog that doesn’t settle in the environment, which then stresses out the owner,” she added.
“With Paws & Brunch, we’ve created an event specifically designed for both people and dogs to enjoy together. Rather than simply allowing dogs, the whole experience is built around them. We allocate a dedicated space in the restaurant so they can relax and play with their favourite toys.”
The event is open to everyone, whether they have a dog or not, and is also family-friendly, making it an inclusive weekend outing.
Romashova also praised El Santo’s partnership with Sir Woofchester, noting that their products have proven a hit with even the fussiest of pets.
El Santo is part of Worq Hospitality, a proudly dog-friendly business. The restaurant’s namesake even comes from Managing Director Jonathan’s British bulldog, who regularly visits the office and serves as its unofficial mascot.
With plans to make Paws & Brunch a permanent fixture in its events calendar, El Santo is inviting dog lovers across Glasgow to become part of its growing community.
