For many, summer is a time to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, unwind in beautiful destinations, and recharge. Set on the Ayrshire coast in Scotland, Glenapp Castle awaits to whisk guests away on an enchanting adventure under the Scottish summer sun – with an enticing new package.

With last-minute bookings on the rise, paired with longer days and warmer weather, Glenapp Castle’s Summer Special is the perfect excuse to fly north for the season. Along with two nights in one of the luxurious Castle Bedroom Suites, guests are also treated to a complimentary archery lesson and use of the tennis court, croquet lawn, boules, mountain & electric bikes and 110 acres of gardens and estate.

Guests of the special will also receive a three course dinner each night at either the famed Castle Dining Room or the hotel’s brand new restaurant The Azalea, by Glenapp Castle. Opened in May 2025, the new dining experience is tucked inside the estate’s historic Victorian Glasshouse and Bothy, this new restaurant brings the outside in quite literally offering a seasonal “garden-to-plate” menu using ingredients grown just metres from the table.

While enjoying this Summer Special, curious guests can also experience ‘Glenapp’s Private Coos and Ewes’ – a Scottish adventure where guests can experience a private tour of the beloved Kitchen Coos and Ewes tour. Guests will be treated to a ‘safari’ of lovable Highland Cows, and learn everything about these fluffy personalities, from the herd’s social hierarchy to the modelling career of one of the favourite ‘moodles.’

Guests will also meet the owners Janet and Neale, with 108 years of farm living between the two of them, this adds a truly personal touch to the experience. To finish this heartwarming experience, guests will be treated to Janet’s homemade traybakes with teas and coffee, freshly prepared in the farmhouse kitchen. And as a keepsake, guests can take home a fun goody bag, packed with cherished highland coo merchandise.

With lighter days still very much the reason of the season, guests of the Summer Special are set for a sun-dappled adventure on the Ayrshire coast.
