One of Glasgow’s most cherished culinary institutions has taken a major step east, as Eusebi opens a new bakery counter at Edinburgh’s award-winning food hall, Bonnie & Wild.

Established in 1954, Eusebi has long been a staple of Glasgow’s dining scene, celebrated for its freshly made pasta, pastries and warm Italian hospitality. Now, owner Giovanna Eusebi is bringing the brand’s signature offering to the capital, marking a significant new chapter for the family-run business.

Now officially open, Eusebi’s at Bonnie & Wild will serve a range of handcrafted sweet treats from the venue’s illy Caffè counter. Customers can expect crema and pistachio cornetti, handmade pastries and classic Italian desserts, alongside seasonal cakes inspired by Scotland’s produce. The menu blends traditional Italian baking techniques with high-quality Scottish ingredients, a hallmark of the Eusebi approach.

Among the highlights are the deli’s much-loved strawberry tarts, made using Scottish fruit, as well as a selection of classic dolci designed to be enjoyed with coffee, shared with family or taken home. All products will be made from scratch by Eusebi’s dedicated bakery team and delivered fresh each day.

Giovanna Eusebi said the Edinburgh launch represents more than just an expansion. “The new Eusebi offering at Bonnie & Wild marks a new chapter of the Eusebi story. For guests to Bonnie & Wild, this is an exciting opportunity to experience the bakery, craftsmanship and everyday Italian rituals that have been at the heart of Eusebi’s success since we first started trading several decades ago.

“The collaboration with Bonnie & Wild, with their focus on sustainable sourcing, high quality produce and passion for family-friendly hospitality are all ingredients that we found difficult to resist and I’m really excited about joining Bonnie & Wild’s iconic Scottish marketplace.

“For us, this is about much more than cake and coffee. It’s about sharing the everyday rituals we grew up with in Italy, the morning cornetto, the espresso at the counter, the tiramisu shared with family and friends.”

Bonnie & Wild’s Managing Director, Ryan Barrie, welcomed the addition, describing Eusebi as a natural fit for the venue’s growing line-up.

“Eusebi’s Deli is one of Scotland’s most loved Italian institutions. It’s an amazing business run by brilliant people who are passionate about the products they make and sell, and the warm Italian hospitality they provide. I think Eusebi are a perfect fit for Bonnie & Wild, complementing the amazing line-up we now have with our new arrivals Flùr Pizza and Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah, which only opened last month.”

Eusebi’s arrival follows a series of high-profile openings at Bonnie & Wild, including chef Ivan Stein’s Flùr pizza bar and BBC Saturday Kitchen chef Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah, further cementing the marketplace’s reputation as a showcase for some of Scotland’s most exciting food and drink talent.
