As the autumn nights draw in, Gnaw, the ethically-sourced chocolate brand, has launched a colourful new identity to brighten up Britain’s chocolate aisles.

The revamp aims to showcase the company’s focus on grown-up comfort food, innovative flavour combinations, and enticing textures.

The Norfolk-based confectioner has introduced an array of exciting new flavours to its repertoire. These include the moreish New York Cheesecake and the decadent Raspberry Mojito, both in milk chocolate.

For those who prefer a tangy twist, there’s the Seville Orange in dark and milk chocolate.

The euphoric Popcorn & Peanut and the beguiling Espresso Martini, both in milk chocolate, offer unique taste experiences.

Rounding out the new offerings are the hypnotic Honeycomb & Caramel, the zingy Peppermint in milk and dark chocolate, and the dreamy Sticky Toffee Pudding in milk chocolate.

Since its inception in 2010, Gnaw has maintained a steadfast commitment to quality and ethics. The artisanal chocolatier uses only premium ingredients and imaginative flavour pairings, whilst sourcing cacao exclusively from ethical Colombian producers.

In line with their eco-conscious ethos, Gnaw utilises compostable and kerbside recyclable packaging printed with vegetable-based inks. Moreover, all their products are manufactured using clean, solar energy.

Gnaw’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond their packaging and energy use. As of 1 October 2024, all the cocoa in their chocolate is 100% traceable, putting them ahead of the curve and fully compliant with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

This move further solidifies Gnaw’s position as a leader in sustainable chocolate production. The company’s future goal is to generate 100% of their own electricity to produce all of their chocolate goods, aiming for full sustainability in every aspect of their operation.

This dedication to ethical practices and environmental consciousness, combined with their innovative flavours and vibrant new branding, positions Gnaw as a standout choice for conscientious chocolate lovers this festive season and beyond.

Mike Navarro, Managing Director of Gnaw, said: “Over the last 12 months the team & I have been immersing ourselves within the latest food trends, not simply within chocolate but throughout all the key lifestyle food and drink movements.

“We have always known that we made incredible chocolate but needed to reaffirm our commitment to unearth bold, unapologetic flavours that tap into happy childhood memories, comfort food yearnings and happy nostalgic moments.

“Initial feedback from both loyalist and pending retailers has been nothing short of incredible, so we simply can’t wait to see how consumers respond in the run up to the festive season and beyond!”
