Wolfcraig Christmas Spirits Collection

WOLFCRAIG Distillers has released the ultimate gift for whisky lovers this Christmas . The Wolfcraig Luxury Collection is a limited edition collection of whiskies and gin curated by two of the industry’s most revered master blenders that includes a ‘magnificent’ 35-year-old Grain Whisky described as ‘a masterpiece’.

Whisky icons Richard ‘The Nose’ Paterson OBE and Ian MacMillan have drawn on more than a century of combined industry experience to meticulously select and refine the collection – which will offer a taste of the best in Scotch whisky craftsmanship this festive season.

The unique collection is priced at just £65, and only 1,000 sets of miniatures will be available from Wolfcraig’s website. The collection includes 50 mls of:

Among the four miniatures in the collection, which will be delivered in 50 ml pouches specially designed to be the perfect gift, will be Wolfcraig’s 35 Year Old blended grain whisky – described by Ian as  ‘a masterpiece – a unique and rare gem that can never be replicated’ – a 30 Year Old Premium Blend  which Patersom describes as a ‘flawless diamond’, and the 14 Year Old deluxe blended whisky crafted in the very finest triple sherry and ex-bourbon barrels.

It also includes the pair’s first gin collaboration – a premium Scottish spirit with tantalising notes of juniper, orange peel, vibrant lemon and cassia, elegantly infused with 17 botanicals, including raspberry and wild thyme.

The remarkable spirits, bottles of which are worth more than £800 combined, have garnered acclaim for their exceptional quality and character – including a Gold Medal Winner in the Global Gin Masters Awards 2023. The 30 Year Old premium blend recently earned a gold medal at this year’s Scotch Whisky Masters.

Category judge Nick Larsson-Bell, Harvey Nichols’ senior buyer – spirits and beer, commented on the blend: “This had lovely depth on the nose; initial notes of caramel, white pepper and cinnamon. The palate is lovely and rich, with candied almonds and dry, spicy finish.”

Richard Paterson, earning the affectionate nickname ‘The Nose’ for his exceptional palate, has left an indelible mark on the whisky industry through his illustrious career.

He said: “The Wolfcraig Luxury Collection is a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship that has defined my career. It is a gateway to experience the pinnacle of Scotch whisky craftsmanship and indulge in the finest spirits.

“While some of our bottles will be saved for many years  by collectors, this showcase of Wolfcraig’s finest is the perfect gift for anyone who appreciates fine spirits to enjoy this festive season.”

“The quality of our products have helped to put Wolfcraig on the map. Within this selection of the finest Scotch whiskies and gin, each dram is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.”
