Braehead Shopping Centre is excited to announce that Popeyes, the renowned fried chicken restaurant, will be opening its doors on 6 December, marking its debut in a Scottish shopping centre.

This exciting addition will enhance Braehead’s diverse dining options, to offer shoppers a taste of Popeyes’ New Orleans menu.

Joining Braehead’s growing roster of food and beverage options, the new Popeyes restaurant will bring its distinctive Louisiana flavours and signature American hospitality, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all.

The new restaurant will seat up to 74 diners and will serve its iconic, signature dishes such as the Chicken Sandwich, Wings, Tenders and Original Popeyes Biscuits with Cajun Gravy.

As part of its ambitious UK expansion, the Braehead location becomes the 65th Popeyes restaurant in the country and the fourth in Scotland, solidifying the brand’s growing presence in the region.

“With Braehead being the first Scottish shopping centre to house this iconic brand, it will provide visitors with an opportunity to try a new and highly anticipated eatery, ultimately enhancing their overall experience at the centre.”

Tom Crowley, CEO or Popeyes UK added: “As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we’re delighted to bring a taste of New Orleans to Braehead.
