The deadline to enter the Scottish Business of the Year Awards is almost upon us

With an entry deadline of 16 January, tomorrow is the last day to get involved if your company is going to be in the running to win at the inaugural Scottish Business of the Year Awards.

If you’re thinking about it, then now’s the time to visit the website, download the entry form, fill it out and send it back. Extensions can be discussed if you message us at boty@thebusinessdesk.com.

There are 13 categories to choose from – including different sizes, sectors and areas of innovation – so we’re sure you can find something to excel in.

Peter Walker, editor of TheBusinessDesk Scotland, said: “We’ve already received some great entries, but there’s still time to be a part of our first awards ceremony north of the border.

“I’m putting out the call far and wide for the best businesses in Scotland to be a part of this landmark event.”

TheBusinessDesk.com has launched the awards to recognise the country’s most successful and ambitious companies.

To enter, visit businessoftheyearawards.co.uk or email boty@thebusinessdesk.com. Entries are free and the awards will have a rigorous judging process.

Site visits will take place in February and March, with shortlisted companies invited to pitch to judges in May, before the winners are revealed at a black-tie ceremony in Glasgow during June.

The awards are being supported by Daily Business Group and TheBusinessGrid.

TheBusinessDesk.com already runs Business of the Year awards in five English regions, with recent winners including Lloyds Bank, Morrisons and Rigby Group.
