After three consecutive years of earning coveted Edinburgh Fringe sell-out laurels, 2 Guys, 3 Drams: The Ultimate Live Blues and Whisky Experience is set to return for 2026 with another heady mix of live blues, exceptional whisky and infectious on-stage charm.
Created and performed by The Rhythm and Booze Project, the hour-long show brings together Felipe Schrieberg on vocals and lap steel guitar, alongside Paul Archibald on drums and percussion. The pair deliver a high-energy sensory experience that combines a guided whisky tasting with foot-stomping live music, stories and plenty of humour.
Every performance includes three premium whiskies, selected to showcase a broad range of styles and flavours. Guests can expect drams from renowned names including Laphroaig and Bowmore, as well as innovative newer producers such as Fife-based InchDairnie Distillery.
More than simply a concert or a tasting, 2 Guys, 3 Drams aims to make whisky approachable while delivering the kind of lively, memorable entertainment for which the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is known.
InchDairnie is returning as the show’s main sponsor, with Jens Tholstrup, the distillery’s Head of Innovation and Marketing, saying the partnership was an easy decision.
“Both whisky and music have a unique ability to engage the senses, spark conversation and create lasting memories. This shared DNA is exactly why being part of ‘2 Guys, 3 Drams’ appeals to us so much. It’s a brilliant way to bring whisky and music together and to introduce InchDairnie to a whole new Fringe audience.”
Schrieberg, an award-winning whisky writer and author in addition to his role in the duo, said the show is designed to entertain newcomers and enthusiasts alike.
“On top of putting on a show that we’re deeply proud of, we also make a solemn promise: if you come to see us, you’ll leave knowing how to sound clever about whisky for the rest of your life.”
The show has already built an enthusiastic following among Fringe audiences and critics.
