The company is recognised globally for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship, exporting its products to around 100 countries worldwide. Walker’s continues to maintain its position as a heritage brand with a global footprint.

As Walker’s Shortbread continues to build on its legacy, Justin’s leadership will help steer the company toward new opportunities while remaining true to its roots as a family business.

Nicky Walker continued: “Justin’s approachable, personable nature and his professional expertise will be a tremendous asset to the business. We are confident that with his guidance we will continue to build on our strong foundations as we drive forward our ambitions for the future. The family, board, and executive team are thrilled to welcome Justin to the Walker’s Shortbread family.”

Justin Stead, Chair of Walker’s Shortbread, said: “It is a privilege to join Walker’s Shortbread, a brand steeped in heritage and synonymous with quality and excellence around the world. I am honoured to take on this role and look forward to collaborating with the talented team to shape the next chapter of the Walker’s story. Together, we will build upon the company’s strong legacy to deliver continued success for years to come.”

Walker’s Shortbread looks forward to embarking on this new chapter under Justin’s guidance, ensuring the company’s continued growth and success while maintaining its unwavering dedication to crafting Scotland at its finest.

Justin becomes only the third ever Chair of Walker’s and succeeds Bob Brannan who held the position for the previous seven years.
