Drinks distributor, Bibendum, is extending its reach in Scotland with an alliance with Cochrane and Co., previously the wine division of Tennent’s.

Targeting both new and existing customers, Bibendum will be the new wine division of Tennent’s, taking the best of Cochrane and Co. and adding new and exclusive wines from Bibendum’s portfolio, renowned for its premium and artisanal wines.

As of end July 2019, customers in Scotland will have access to the new Bibendum portfolio as well as their favourite wines from Cochrane and Co. range. Bibendum will continue to work in long-term partnership with United Supplies who exclusively take their wines to market in the Aberdeen area.

Michael Saunders, Chief Executive for Bibendum commented, “After the C&C purchase in 2019, the next logical step was to make Bibendum wines available to more customers in Scotland. I’m delighted that we will now be combining the best of the Cochrane and Co.  range that has been popular with customers in Scotland for many years, and introducing customers to many new and exclusive, award winning wines from the Bibendum range”.

Saunders added, “As well as offering our customers in Scotland some fantastic new wines, we are working towards a single logistic solution for our customers in 2020.”
