Winter Aperol

This cocktail puts a festive twist on the classic Aperol Spritz, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients:

  • 75ml Prosecco
  • 50ml Aperol
  • 25ml soda water
  • 30ml X Gin (or dark chocolate and vanilla-infused gin)
  • 1 orange slice
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • A few cocoa nibs
  • 1 sprig of rosemary

Method:

  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the Prosecco, Aperol, and soda water in the ratio of 3:2:1.
  3. Add the X Gin (or your chosen flavoured gin) to bring in those delicious dark chocolate and vanilla notes.
  4. Gently stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice, a few cardamom pods, and a sprinkle of cocoa nibs.
  6. Finally, add a sprig of rosemary for that festive aroma.

This Winter Aperol is a perfect balance of the classic Aperol Spritz’s refreshing qualities with warm, wintery flavours.

The addition of chocolate and vanilla notes from the gin, along with the aromatic cardamom and rosemary, transforms this summer favourite into a delightful Christmas tipple.
