Tariq Halal is continuing its national expansion with the launch of its first Scottish location.

Located inside the Shields Green World Supermarket at 274 to 280 Shields Road in Glasgow, this new site will open on Wednesday 17 December.

To celebrate the Grand Launch, Tariq will have multiple special offers for customers to take advantage of.

With over 30 outlets already established in London, Tariq Halal has already launched in Cardiff and recently made its Manchester debut earlier this year.

The brand offers high end meat products, not just everday cuts but also premium items such as Wagyu beef, Dry Aged Beef and ‘Gold Steak’ Cuts.

In addition to its own stores, Tariq Halal supplies halal meat to over 300 Sainsbury’s supermarkets nationwide, with plans to expand into more major retailers and new locations in the coming months.

Tariq Halal, founded in 1965 by Tariq Sheikh alongside his father, supplies a wide range of meats to retailers, wholesalers, and directly to consumers, offering franchise opportunities to enhance its market presence.

The brand’s mission focuses on maintaining the highest quality standards and expanding accessibility to halal meats globally, aiming to enhance customer culinary experiences.

Kunal Patel, CEO of Tariq Halal said: “We’re incredibly proud to be opening our first Tariq Halal store in Glasgow as it marks the latest milestone in our expansion

Glasgow has a rich, diverse food culture, and we’re excited to bring our premium halal products, trusted quality, and exceptional service to the city. This is just the beginning of our journey in Scotland, and we look forward to opening many more Scottish Locations.”
