UK hot chicken brand Sides, founded by YouTube sensations The Sidemen, storms to victory at high stakes Fried Chicken Competition, cementing its place among the UK’s fried chicken elite.

London Jerk brought the heat and took the title, wowing judges to win the Technical Platter category.

The trophy-winning spread packed in a burger, tenders, wings, slaw and gravy, all finished with award-winning London Jerk spice and buttermilk ranch.

Aaron Moore-Saxon, Managing Director of Sides, said: “London Jerk is where bold meets British. This win proves big flavour and top-quality chicken belong together.

“We’re all about creating food that feels fresh, culturally connected and built on quality. This award shows we’re raising the bar in the UK fast-casual scene.”

The competition, hosted by Dine Out Magazine, attracted top national brands and standout independents but Sides’ London Jerk stole the spotlight, winning judges over with its bold flavour and quality.

The victory puts Sides firmly in the fast-casual spotlight, showing the Sidemen’s influence stretched well beyond YouTube, and shows no signs of slowing.

Hungry fans won’t have to wait to get a taste, with the award-winning London Jerk available now and the full platter landing soon for a limited run.

Sides is cranking up the heat on UK hot chicken, leading with fearless flavours and a culture first attitude. Driven by the iconic Sides Scale, built on heat, hype and heart, the brand fuses a Nashville fire with a proudly British twist that hits different.

London Jerk bring it home with big, vibrant spice and 100% Red Tractor British chicken, delivering knockout flavour, quality and credibility in every single bite.
