Largo Leisure Holidays has reported a significant uplift in bookings at the close of its Early Booking campaign, with the final day ending 113% up year on year.

The operator, which owns six holiday parks across Scotland, said the performance reflects strong forward demand for domestic holidays and growing confidence in Scotland as a tourism destination.

The Early Booking campaign, which encourages guests to secure accommodation in advance of the peak season, saw consistent growth throughout its duration. According to the company, travellers are increasingly planning ahead to secure preferred dates and locations, particularly for peak summer periods.

Rachel Mabbs, Commercial Director at Largo Leisure Holidays, said the figures point to continued momentum within the Scottish staycation market.: “We’ve seen sustained demand throughout the campaign, culminating in a particularly strong final day.

“The 113% year-on-year increase suggests that many holidaymakers are planning earlier and prioritising time away in Scotland. Forward bookings at this stage of the year provide a positive indicator for the season ahead.”

The results come amid continued strength in Scotland’s domestic tourism market, with operators reporting steady demand for holiday parks and self-catering accommodation as travellers seek flexible, UK-based breaks.

Largo Leisure Holidays said it will continue to monitor booking trends as it moves into the main holiday season.
