Looking for somewhere to celebrate during the Games? The Glasgow Distillery has teamed up with some of the city’s best-loved bars to create a series of exclusive serves available throughout the event.
Whether you’re visiting Glasgow for the Games or simply looking for an excuse to explore the city’s incredible hospitality scene, The Glasgow Distillery has made it easier than ever to discover some of Glasgow’s favourite bars.
As part of its new Global Games, Glasgow Spirit campaign, venues including Òran Mór, Howlin’ Wolf, Malone’s, Cùl Cùil and Bag O’Nails will each be serving their own limited-edition Glasgow Distillery drinks menu showcasing the distillery’s full portfolio of spirits throughout the Games.
Rather than creating the same drink in every venue, each participating bar has put its own spin on The Glasgow Distillery’s award-winning range of spirits, giving visitors the perfect excuse to try somewhere new or revisit an old favourite.
Alongside the drinks, The Glasgow Distillery will also be shining a spotlight on the people behind each venue, sharing short films across its social media channels celebrating the bars, their teams and what they love most about Glasgow.
Libby Barmby, Marketing Executive at Glasgow Distillery, said:
“There really is no better time to explore Glasgow than when the city comes alive for a major event like this. One of my favourite parts of working on this campaign has been getting out into the venues, meeting the brilliant people behind the bars and hearing what Glasgow means to them.
Every venue has its own character and its own story, and that’s exactly what we wanted to celebrate. We hope people use it as an excuse to discover somewhere new, enjoy a fantastic drink and experience the warmth and creativity that makes Glasgow’s hospitality scene so special.”
Participating venues include:
* Òran Mór
* Howlin’ Wolf
* Malone’s (Glasgow venues)
