New Dlyt is welcoming new bakers

DLYT is a brand new online marketplace app through which desserts can be sold. It provides a platform for home bakers to sell their products online as well as allowing dessert parlours another avenue to reach customers.

This app is the result of two years of development by 20 year Glasgow based entrepreneur & London School of Economics student Omar Arfan. He saw a gap in the market for a delivery app tailored to dessert lovers as well as seeing the number of home baking businesses that started during the pandemic.

Dlyt is a commission-based service, but registered bakers keep 85% of sales generated.

The app had a small group of bakers and dessert parlours when it started but is looking to bring more onboard.

Omar said: “When we launched Dlyt had a small group of homebakers onboard who we were happy to give a platform to.”

“Now that we’re getting more & more orders we’re looking to grow our database of bakers and dessert makers to make this the main hub for desserts across the UK.”

“If you are a home baker or dessert maker looking to increase sales, apply to become a Dlyt partner now at partner.dlytapp.com/register.”
