Independent seasoning brand Angus & Oink has announced a new national distribution partnership with Dalziel Ltd, the UK’s largest butchery supply company, marking a major milestone in the brand’s expansion into the retail butcher sector.

Dalziel will initially roll out a curated range of 14 Angus & Oink seasoning lines across 14 depots nationwide, giving the more than 5,000 independent and commercial butcher shops it supplies direct access to some of the UK’s most in-demand barbecue and globally inspired flavours. The launch range includes established best sellers such as Garlic Butter, Honey Chilli, Fries With That, Big Phat Greek, Black Gold and Pigasus.

Founded 100 years ago and headquartered in Bellshill, Scotland, Dalziel Ltd operates a national network of strategic depots, providing a true one-stop-shop for the retail butchery and meat processing industry. Its extensive portfolio spans spices, marinades, coatings, casings, packaging, machinery and counter solutions, alongside bespoke product development through Dalziel Ingredients. The family-owned business is also widely recognised for its commitment to innovation, education and industry engagement, hosting events including the Dalziel Butchers Show and the Battle of the Butchers.

The addition of Angus & Oink reflects Dalziel’s ongoing focus on helping butchers add value, drive margin and respond to rapidly changing consumer tastes.

Scott Fraser, co-founder of Angus & Oink, says: “British barbecue continues to evolve, with more consumers embracing outdoor cooking and looking to recreate bold, restaurant-quality flavours at home. As the cost of eating out rises, we’re seeing customers turn to their local butcher for inspiration, quality and something a bit different. Alongside this, demand for American-style barbecue and punchy global flavours, from Greek to Asian cuisines, is growing fast.

“Partnering with Dalziel allows us to bring a focused selection of Angus & Oink seasonings into the retail butcher sector, giving butchers confidence to upsell and delight customers who are actively seeking bigger, more adventurous flavours.”

This partnership reinforces Dalziel’s mission to support the continued evolution of the butchery trade through quality products, innovation and strong supplier relationships, while providing Angus & Oink with a powerful national platform within one of the UK’s most trusted supply networks.
