The Artisanal Spirits Company (AIM: ART) has announced a robust financial performance for the first four months of 2025, continuing its positive momentum with double-digit revenue growth.
The Edinburgh-based owner of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), Single Cask Nation (SCN), and J.G. Thomson reported significant profitability improvements despite challenging economic conditions.
“The Group achieved double-digit revenue growth, resulting in year-on-year profitability improvement in the period, more than offsetting the impact of inflationary cost increases,” the company stated in a London Stock Exchange announcement.
Financial indicators suggest this strong performance is expected to continue, with the company confirming it remains on target for its annual financial objectives.
“The performance to date, further strategic priority progress and expectation of further year-on-year EBITDA improvement in the remainder of the year, gives further confidence of delivering revenue and profit growth in the current year. Whilst still early in the financial year, the Group remains on track to meet Full Year 2025 consensus EBITDA of £1.5m.”
The company has attributed part of its success to ongoing strategic growth initiatives, though specific details of these strategies weren’t elaborated upon in the updates.
ASC’s portfolio focuses on premium and niche spirits brands, with its flagship Scotch Malt Whisky Society known for specializing in single cask whiskies. The latest financial results appear to strengthen the company’s position within Scotland’s competitive spirits sector.
