Ben Lomond Gin partners with FINDRA to celebrate Scotland’s adventurous spirit

25/04/2024

Ben Lomond Gin, a versatile and balanced Scottish gin, has teamed up with FINDRA, the pioneering female outdoor clothing brand, to launch an exclusive neckwarmer that embodies the essence of Scottish adventure.

Designed by Alex Feechan, founder and CEO of FINDRA, 350 bespoke and beautifully handcrafted neckwarmers have been produced using sustainable fibres and with a focus on refined style and functionality.

Four colourways have been created to match Ben Lomond Gin’s three flavoured gins and the beacon that inspired the signature Scottish gin, which is a unique blend of 11 botanicals including locally foraged rowan berries from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

Named after the Celtic word “Lumon,” meaning ‘The Beacon Mountain,’ Ben Lomond Gin symbolizes the adventurous spirit that has guided explorers across Scotland for centuries. In line with this ethos, Ben Lomond Gin launched its Adventurous Serves campaign last year, to celebrate individuals who embrace exploration in their everyday lives.

This campaign led to a collaboration with FINDRA, a premium outdoor clothing brand for women founded by Alex Feechan, an award-winning Scottish fashion designer and outdoor enthusiast. Alex created two unique adventurous serves; The FINDRA Fizz and The Pit Stop.

The Pit Stop is the perfect end to any adventure and balances the vibrancy of Ben Lomond Blood Orange & Pink Grapefruit Gin with the sweetness of honey and vanilla syrup while The FINDRA Fizz sees the robust and versatile Ben Lomond Scottish Gin paired with peach liquor and raspberry and rose soda, creating the perfect serve to enjoy with friends.

FINDRA, established in 2014, fills a gap in the market by offering versatile, sustainable, and stylish outdoor apparel specifically for women. Inspired by the sense of community and camaraderie found in the great outdoors, FINDRA’s products cater to women from all walks of life, fostering inclusivity and empowerment.

John Grieveson, Chief Marketing Officer of Ben Lomond Gin owner Loch Lomond Group, said: “We are thrilled to partner with FINDRA on this collaboration. The partnership naturally transpired through a shared passion for connecting people with nature and embracing everyday adventure.

“It’s truly been a collaborative project from the start, with Alex taking part in our Adventurous Serves campaign to the creation of 350 bespoke and beautifully hand-crafted neck warmers, which is the perfect testament to our shared values.”

Alex Feechan, founder and CEO of FINDRA, said: “It has been a joy to work with Ben Lomond Gin in our shared love of the great outdoors and the philosophy of finding adventure on your own terms.

“I started FINDRA not only to provide stylish and sustainable outdoor wear specifically for women but with the hope of creating a space for women with busy lives to have the chance to embrace the outdoors, in whichever way suits them. Some of my best memories are from the adventures I have had with friends and the sense of community the outdoors inspires.

“As versatile as it is lightweight, the Ben Lomond Gin neckwarmer can also double up as a headband or hat and packs down small enough to fit into your pocket. It is the perfect accessory for any outdoor enthusiast, and I hope it inspires people to start their journey to finding their adventurous spirit.”

The Ben Lomond Gin and FINDRA neckwarmer is available for a limited time as a gift with purchase of any 70cl bottle of the Ben Lomond Original Scottish Gin or one of the three flavoured editions: Blood Orange & Pink Grapefruit, Raspberry & Elderflower and Blackberry & Gooseberry.
