Bruichladdich Distillery, the pioneering B Corp whisky maker from Islay, is bringing a taste of modern Scotland to London this January with a contemporary Burns Night celebration at Covent Garden Hotel. Taking place on Friday 23rd January, the Burns Night Dinner with Bruichladdich will be hosted in Brasserie Max’s private dining room and promises an evening of rich Scottish flavours, rare whisky pairings, and live spoken word performance.

Guests will be welcomed with a Penicillin cocktail – a smoky, honeyed modern classic reimagined with The Classic Laddie – before sitting down to a four-course menu curated by Scottish-born Head Chef Martin Sweeney. Designed as a fresh take on the traditional Burns Supper, the dishes are paired with expressions from the distillery’s celebrated portfolio, including Bruichladdich 18Port Charlotte 18, and the heavily peated Octomore 15.2.

Menu highlights include traditional haggis with neeps and tatties, perfectly matched with Bruichladdich 18, and Highland venison paired with Port Charlotte 18, followed by a decadent dessert served alongside Octomore 15.2 — a fitting finale for whisky enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Adding a lyrical touch to the evening’s celebrations, award-winning Scottish poet Kevin McLean will deliver a live spoken word performance inspired by the wit and legacy of Robert Burns, offering a modern tribute to the national bard.
