Chivas Brothers’ iconic Speyside single malt, The Glenlivet, is proud to introduce its latest release, The Glenlivet Caskmakers. This distinguished Scotch whisky is the result of exceptional craftsmanship, combining two casks to create a complex interplay of flavors.
Employing a novel approach to cask construction, the process involves carefully deconstructing and reconstructing two hand-selected barrels, using alternating staves from each, to form a new, singular cask. These unique casks, blending ex-Spanish Sherry and freshly charred European Oak barrels, were developed by The Glenlivet’s experts in collaboration with master coopers in Jerez, Spain. This intricate craftsmanship epitomizes The Glenlivet’s spirit of innovation, resulting in a whisky with new depths of flavor.
Whisky enthusiasts tasting The Glenlivet Caskmakers will discover notes of ripe orchard fruits, fresh honey, warming spices, and hints of charred pineapple. The painstaking crafting process, which includes finishing a portion of the whisky in these bespoke casks, seamlessly combines these flavors, resulting in a single malt that celebrates originality and collaboration.

The Glenlivet Caskmakers will be exclusively available in selected Duty-Free stores in airports and travel hubs globally from May 2024, priced at $225. It will also be featured at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore from May 16, offering visitors the chance to experience this exquisite new release.
