The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) has announced the shortlist for the FDF Awards 2025 – some of the most prestigious awards in the food and drink industry.

The FDF Awards celebrates the top talent and innovation from across the sector. Across 20 categories, it rewards the organisations, projects, and people that have made a real impact, from businesses making a difference to local communities and apprentices who have made their mark, to innovations supporting the nation’s health or forward-thinking net-zero initiatives.

From hundreds of submissions, the shortlist highlights those who have shown exceptional leadership in their field and are in with a chance of winning one of the sought-after awards, as decided by a panel of esteemed judges.

Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 11 September 2025, held at world-famous London venue, The Roundhouse, which has hosted global artists like Jimi Hendrix, Adele, The Rolling Stones and Ed Sheeran. Sponsored by KPMG, the event will bring together up to 600 industry professionals to celebrate the positive impact that our sector makes.

This year’s host is renowned pastry chef, cookbook author, and television star, Ravneet Gill. Gill has appeared on Saturday Kitchen, This Morning, and Sunday Brunch, as well as being a judge on Channel 4’s Junior Bake Off. She also has a regular column in The Guardian’s weekly Feast supplement.

Tickets for the Awards Ceremony are now on sale, at a discounted Early Bird price.

Gerald Mason, Senior Vice President, Tate & Lyle Sugars, and President of the Food and Drink Federation, said:

“As we focus on technology adoption, supporting the nation’s health, driving sustainability, and upskilling the next generation, the pace of progress across the food system has been immense in recent years.

“The FDF Awards give us a chance to come together with industry colleagues to celebrate those who are shaping the future of food and drink. I congratulate all those who have been shortlisted and look forward to hearing the results.”

Linda Ellett, Head of Consumer, Retail and Leisure for KPMG UK, said:

“KPMG is proud to support the FDF Awards, celebrating the food and drink sector which is working to drive cost effective and innovative new products, more sustainable farming, production and packaging, and take the opportunities offered by GenAI technologies.”

The full list of finalists can be found here. Tickets for the Awards Ceremony are now on sale. Early bird offer ends 31 July 2025.
