63rd+1st has announced that it is officially opening its second venue in Glasgow on 24th September 2021, with bookings launching online on 8th September. The concept is part of TGI Fridays UK and is named after thestreet that the iconic brand hails from.

Located on Bothwell Street and just a short walk from Glasgow Central Station, this new cocktail bar and restaurant spans 275 square meters, seating 135 in a large but neatly designed restaurant, lounge, bar area. An additional 24 covers are available in its outdoor dining area. 

63rd+1st showcases a unique identity and beautiful club style interior, creating a stylish hub for people to meet morning, noon, and night. Furthermore, the menu is inspired by the street food scene in Manhattan and celebrates the personality and principles of iconic classic cocktails, quality eclectic food and legendary atmosphere.

63rd+1st is the perfect place for the early crowd to grab fresh coffee or an easy brunch at the weekend, commuters who fancy popping in for one or two, and will be Glasgow’s newest hotspot to indulge in a handcrafted martini after a shopping spree.

The company is proud that its location in Glasgow will bring 55+ full and part time jobs to the area with career opportunities still available.

Sian O’Brien, General Manager of 63rd+1st Glasgow, added: ”Having successfully launched the brand in Cobham alongside renowned resturanteur Dawid Samulczyk, formerly of Soho House and Gordon Ramsay stable, I jumped at the opportunity  to return home to Scotland to lead the 63rd+1st Glasgow team.

From handcrafted cocktails accompanied by amazing sharing plates, to delicious dishes perfectly paired with a bottle from our extensive wine list, we’ve got you covered. The first 63rd+1st opened in Cobham, Surrey in May 2021. Further locations are due to open throughout the UK this year, with the next location confirmed in Harrogate, North Yorkshire for later this year.
