Award-winning Scottish brewer Harviestoun is throwing open its brewery doors for a lively pop-up taproom event on Friday 24 April – serving up fresh pints, bold street food and a buzzing, laid-back atmosphere at the foot of the Ochils.

Running from 5pm to 9pm at the brewery at Hillfoots Business Village, this free-entry event marks Harviestoun’s first indoor and outdoor taproom of 2026. Beer lovers, families and groups are invited to enjoy a relaxed, non-pub setting, with award-winning brews crafted on site since 1983. Guests can expect some of Harviestoun’s best-loved beers on pour, including Schiehallion, Old Engine Oil Craft Stout and Bitter & Twisted.

With demand growing beyond its loyal local following, and visitors now travelling from across central Scotland, the Harviestoun Taproom continues to build momentum as the brewery works towards making it a permanent feature.

Food comes from Stag Bites The Hog, a local street food favourite specialising in all things slow-cooked and smoked. Using locally sourced ingredients, they are known for bold, flavour-packed dishes designed to pair perfectly with craft beer. The event menu includes Pulled BBQ Chicken & Mash, Beef Philly Cheesesteak, Grilled Bratwurst and a Plant Powered Dog.

Andrew McKnight, CEO of Harviestoun Brewery, said:

“Our taproom pop-ups have taken on a life of their own. What started as something for locals has quickly grown, with people travelling from further afield to be part of it. There’s a real appetite for experiencing Harviestoun beers right here at the brewery, fresh from the source. It’s all about great beer, good food and a welcoming atmosphere, something a bit different from the traditional pub venue.

“With the continued popularity of these events, we’re now looking at how we can make this a more permanent feature going forward. With more space this time as a result of our warehouse expansion, we’re excited to make it our biggest and best yet.”

Located within Alva Industrial Estate (FK12 5DQ), the brewery is easily reached via the 52-bus route linking Alloa and Stirling, with train stations in both towns.

No tickets required – just turn up, grab a pint and join the mischief!
