WHILE marmalade and eggs are undoubtedly a brunch staple, they’re more likely to be found on a plate than in a glass with the orange juice.

But, with remote working set to go on longer than anticipated, award-winning event creator, Boozy Events has refashioned these key breakfast ingredients into a cocktail, ideal for adding some sparkle to the monotony of virtual morning meetings.

The new ‘Business Breakfast’ offering stars the ‘breakfast in a glass’, Mary Jane, made up of marmalade, orange juice and egg whites – combined with Vodka and Aperol for those wanting to kick start the day. Along with three other brunch-based cocktail or mocktail combinations and a delicious breakfast grazing selection, the Business Breakfast also features a live interactive virtual cocktail making class – the perfect accompaniment to get the creative juices flowing.

A dedicated, professional mixologist joins the meeting virtually, along with remote working colleagues, sharing instructions, techniques and tips on how to create the perfect brunch-time cocktails, which also include an Espresso Martini, a fruity passionfruit Mimosa, and of course, a classic Bloody Mary.

The bespoke food offering comprises continental breakfast favourites, such as delicious pastries, fruit platters and cereals.

Gregor Sey, Director of Boozy Events, commented: “We understand that working from home has been challenging for many people, so as we’re being advised to work from home a little longer, we thought it was time to inject some cheer and cheers into the morning meeting.

“Everyone has a job to do, so whether it’s celebratory cocktails, Monday mocktails or a combination of both, our new Business Breakfast is guaranteed to get everyone talking. Our cocktail masterclasses have been incredibly popular over the last year, with businesses recognising the value of bringing colleagues together socially, despite not being in the same room, or even the same country. Whenever ‘Freedom Day’ falls, a full time return to the office will be off the cards for a while, but the need for collaboration and team-work will always be there. This is a great way to bring people together as a team while many continue to work from home.”

The Business Breakfast can be provided with alcohol or alcohol-free and caters to almost all dietary requirements. Prices start from £50.00 per person and can be delivered to offices and homes worldwide.

Since launching in 2020, Aberdeen-based Boozy Events has been hosting award-winning cocktail masterclasses for a global audience. As well as catering for private events, Boozy Events hosts virtual classes for some of the world’s biggest organisations, bringing people together across the globe for corporate events and teambuilding.
