COWDRAY Park Polo Club is delighted to announce No.3 Gin as their Official Gin Partner in an exciting 3-year partnership. No. 3 Gin, expertly curated by Berry Bros. & Rudd, will be the exclusive gin served to Club members and at polo events including the prestigious British Open Polo Championship Final for the Cowdray Gold Cup and the inaugural No.3 Gin & Jazz evening in July.

The Cowdray Gold Cup is globally recognised as one of the most prestigious tournaments in the sport. It attracts over 30,000 consumers during the championship, who will be invited to enjoy specially curated No.3 cocktails pitch side as part of a luxury brand experience.

With two Royal Warrants, Berry Bros. & Rudd are Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant and named No.3 Gin after their premise at No. 3 St James’s Street, London where they have traded from since 1698.  Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within Viscount Cowdray’s 16,000-acre estate in West Sussex, the game of polo has been played at Cowdray for over a century – the first competitive tournaments being recorded in 1910. The Cowdray Gold Cup Final is played against the stunning backdrop of the Cowdray Ruins, one of England’s most important early Tudor houses.

Widely regarded as the Game of Kings, polo has brought together these two luxury British brands in their joint pursuit of excellence. Cowdray Park Polo Club is the recognised ‘home of British polo’, boasting some of the best playing surfaces in Europe and hosting the world’s top players and ponies. No. 3 Gin is the only gin to have won ‘World’s Best’ four times at the International Spirits Challenge; it invites consumers to experience ‘Gin Perfection’.

The collaboration is further strengthened by Cowdray Estate’s agreement to stock No.3 Gin at their award-winning Cowdray Farm Shop and Café, and as the premium gin at Cowdray Park Golf Club.

Emma Fox, Chief Executive of Berry Bros. & Rudd, commented: “I am thrilled that our award-winning No.3 Gin is the exclusive gin partner for Cowdray Park Polo Club.  The partnership marks a new chapter in our pursuit of perfection to become the definitive luxury gin and we look forward to connecting discerning drinkers at this iconic polo location, with No.3 Gin.”

Andrew Swaffield, Chairman of Cowdray Park Polo Club, commented: “Berry Bros. & Rudd is a distinguished British brand with an illustrious history. We are delighted to be partnering with their critically acclaimed No.3 Gin which will be enjoyed by patrons, players, members and visitors as a perfectly refreshing accompaniment to a day at the home of British polo”.
