GLASGOW just got a whole lot hotter as Turtle Bay officially opens its doors at 130 St Vincent Street today, bringing Caribbean good times to the bustling city centre.

Famous for its delicious Caribbean inspired dishes, tropical rum cocktails and reggae beats, Turtle Bay brings a new level of energy and excitement to the city with the highly anticipated opening.

The grand opening follows three successful soft launch days where over 500 guests had the chance to sample rum, reggae and jerk for free, with Turtle Bay now extending their Caribbean hospitality as they open to the public on Friday.

Celebrating the restaurant’s arrival to Scotland, Turtle Bay has created the ‘Bru & Stormy’ cocktail, featuring Irn-Bru paired with RedLeg spiced rum, bitters, and falernum – a Caribbean syrup made with ginger, lime, and cloves for a well-balanced spicy & sweet sip that embodies the coming together of Scottish tastes and Caribbean flavours.

Just in time for the holidays, a Christmas in the Caribbean is on everyone’s wish list – and people needn’t look any further than a special Christmas deal where guests can enjoy two courses for £24.50 or three courses for £29.50 with a free welcome cocktail over the festive season.

Gemma Lewis, Operations Manager at Turtle Bay said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to open our doors and welcome the people of Glasgow into our Caribbean paradise! This is the first Turtle Bay restaurant to touch down in Scotland and we’re so excited to meet new faces and celebrate in Caribbean style.

The festive period is such a joyful time, and we’ve had a wonderful time spending the first week of December getting the new team trained up and ready to play our part in spreading the cheer and hosting plenty of memorable days out starting today!”

Bookings are now live at https://turtlebay.co.uk/restaurants/glasgow for Bay Brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks and the limited time Caribbean Christmas menu.
