Shore Seaweed Company wins Gold at Free From Food Awards

SHORE the Scottish Seaweed Company (SHORE) topped a host of national brands to win a snack category Gold Award at the prestigious UK Free From Food Awards for their Sweet Sriracha Seaweed Chips. It was an evening of success, as SHORE also landed two further awards in the food innovation and store cupboard categories. They won a bronze award in the Innovation category for their Lightly salted Chips and capped off the evening with a silver in the Store Cupboard category for their Black Kale & Seaweed Pesto.

The award closely follows the news of SHORE winning both a Great Taste & World Innovation Award earlier this year. SHORE has again impressed a panel of industry experts with their innovative concept of turning a sustainable, local superfood into better for you snacks and foods that taste delicious.

These awards support SHORE’s mission to introduce its local Scottish seaweed to the masses with better for you, great tasting products. Keith Paterson, joint-managing director, SHORE, said: “We are truly delighted to have won a gold, silver and bronze at the prestigious Free From Food Awards.
