Rollout begins at Emirates Old Trafford before reaching 12 major venues
Sodexo Live! has announced a new partnership with Caravan Coffee Roasters, bringing the independent specialty coffee brand to some of the UK’s sports, hospitality and event venues. Caravan’s coffee blends will be introduced across Sodexo Live! hospitality, conference and events operations, beginning at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground before extending across 12 major stadia and destination venues, followed by a phased expansion across the wider portfolio.
The company said the refreshed coffee offering forms part of an ongoing commitment from Sodexo Live! to deliver high-quality hospitality experiences, bringing the quality of coffee in line with the premium food and drink guests already enjoy. Caravan will work closely with Sodexo Live! throughout the rollout, providing ongoing support across barista training, technical support, events and marketing activity.
Caravan’s approach to coffee centres on building direct, long-term relationships with producers and sourcing coffee with a focus on quality and responsible practices. The company said this shared approach was an important part of the decision to partner with Caravan, alongside the roaster’s ability to bring its specialist coffee expertise to a large and diverse venue portfolio.
Guests will be able to enjoy Caravan’s core blends, with plans to add single-origin coffees in the future. One of the blends to be used for filter coffee is Caravan’s ‘Vista’, a blend sourced entirely from women-led farmers, supporting Caravan’s wider ambition to move its whole core range towards being 100% sourced from women-led farms. For bean-to-cup machines, Sodexo Live! will introduce ‘Works’, a blend formulated to deliver a consistent coffee across high-volume environments.
Donna Cross, UK Sales Director for Sodexo Live! UK & Ireland, said: “Coffee is such an important part of the overall hospitality experience – whether it’s the first drink of the day at a conference or a warming pick-me-up during a football match. Our brief to Caravan was very clear, we wanted to elevate the quality of our coffee offering and find a partner whose approach and values aligned with our own. They’ve surpassed our expectations every step of the way and we’re looking forward to bringing that experience to guests across our venues.”
