1802 Lounge & Grill is set to welcome guests for a one-night-only Halloween celebration this autumn, featuring an exclusive three-course menu, themed cocktails, close-up magic and live music.

Following the success of last year’s Halloween Supper Club, Nightmare at 1802 will return to Edinburgh on Saturday 24 October 2026, promising an evening of food, entertainment and suitably spooky indulgence.

Guests will arrive from 6.30pm and be greeted with a Halloween-themed welcome cocktail before dinner is served from 7.30pm. The restaurant at 1–3 Baxter’s Place will be transformed for the occasion, with atmospheric Halloween decorations setting the scene for the evening.

At the heart of the event is a specially curated three-course menu, created exclusively by the 1802 kitchen team. Diners will be able to choose from a selection of Halloween-inspired dishes that combine seasonal flavours with a theatrical twist, with dishes unavailable on the regular Lounge & Grill menu.

The evening will also feature a spooky close-up magician, entertaining guests during the drinks reception and at the beginning of the meal with unexpected tricks and table-side surprises.

After dinner, a live band will take to the stage, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy another cocktail and continue the celebrations into the night. A lucky dip with prizes will also add an extra element of fun to the occasion.

While fancy dress is encouraged, guests do not need to wear a costume to take part.

Liana Rae, Marketing Manager at 1802 Lounge & Grill, said: “After the fantastic response to last year’s Halloween Supper Club, we knew we wanted to bring Nightmare at 1802 back for another year.

“This time, we’ve put even more focus on the food, with our chef creating a special three-course menu exclusively for the evening. We’re pairing that with cocktails, close-up magic and live music to create a really fun night out for Halloween, without taking it too seriously. We can’t wait to see what our guests turn up in!”
