BACK for a third year, the team at The Staff Canteen Live will once again interview the hottest Scottish Chefs as they cook live on stage, learning the secrets and stories that have allowed them to reach the height of their career.

The Staff Canteen Live aims to bring the UK’s top chefs to a live stage to showcase their Michelin-starred dishes during interactive demonstrations; along with recipe guidance and cooking tips, hosted by The Staff Canteen: The UK’s leading networking website for chefs, with the latest chef jobs, recipe ideas, supplier information & chefs’ resources.

In addition to taking the most-asked questions regarding their restaurants, careers, and food philosophy, each chef will be performing a live demo in which lucky guests will have the chance to taste the dishes that have made these chefs famous.

The line-up of celebrated culinary talent taking the stage this year include:

  • Tom Kitchin, chef owner of The Kitchin
  • Kaori Simpson, chef owner of Harajuku Kitchen
  • Calum Montgomery, chef owner of Edinbane Lodge
  • Paul Wedgwood, chef owner of Wedgwood the Restaurant
  • Adam Handling, owner of Adam Handling Restaurant Group
  • Roy Brett, chef owner of Ondine
  • Graeme Cheevers, chef patron of Michelin-starred Unalome
  • Stuart Ralston, chef owner of Aizle and Noto

Mark Morris, Managing Director of The Staff Canteen, said “We’re always glad to bring The Staff Canteen Live to ScotHot to showcase the unique talents that make Scottish cuisine great, and bring their knowledge and expertise to the public.

“The interactive, informal nature of these demonstrations means guests can gain a personal first-hand experience of what it takes to create a Michelin starred meal, and take that unique knowledge back to their own kitchens.”

Toby Wand, Managing Director of 365 Events, the team behind ScotHot23, said: “The live demonstrations and conversations with chefs with Staff Canteen at ScotHot have historically been one of the best opportunities to gain access to the biggest names in the business and get a glimpse at how they approach their craft. This year’s programme is set to be one of the best yet.”
