Wendy’s is marking the start of the UK’s grasscourt tennis season with a seasonal twist on its signature dessert, introducing a new Strawberries and Cream Frosty.

Blending the brand’s iconic Frosty – available in both vanilla and chocolate – with a topping of strawberry sauce and white chocolate chips, the limited-time offering aims to capture one of the most recognisable flavour combinations of the British summer.

Positioned as a hybrid between a milkshake and soft-serve, the Frosty has long been a staple on Wendy’s menu, and this latest iteration leans into the traditional strawberries and cream pairing synonymous with tennis season.

To support the launch, Wendy’s will be handing out samples to fans around south west London’s well-known tennis grounds, targeting spectators enjoying the action both on court and from the surrounding hills. The Strawberries and Cream Frosty will also be available to purchase at Wendy’s restaurants across the UK throughout the promotional period.

Michael Clarke, Managing Director at Wendy’s UK, said: “Strawberries and cream is one of the most recognisable flavours of the British summer. This year, we want to give the tennis season’s most iconic flavour combination a Wendy’s spin. Our new Strawberries and Cream Frosty combines the creamy taste fans know and love with sweet strawberry sauce and white chocolate chips, creating the perfect treat to enjoy one of the highlights of the British summer.”

The launch taps into the seasonal appetite for lighter, fruit-led desserts during the summer months, while aligning the brand with one of the UK’s most anticipated sporting events.
