Discover QMS’s Assurance Schemes at Livestock Mart Clinics in Scotland

21/08/2024

Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) is hosting a series of drop-in clinics at key livestock marts across Scotland to showcase the business value of its Quality Assurance Schemes.

These events provide a platform for farmers, auctioneers, and industry professionals to engage directly with the QMS team and learn about the assurance schemes that highlight Scotland’s high standards in meat quality, welfare, production, and traceability.

An assessor from Food Integrity Assurance (FIA) will also be present to address assessment or certification queries. These clinics are part of QMS’s strategy to position Scotland as the premium choice for red meat by actively involving stakeholders.

Kathryn Kerr, Head of Brands Integrity at QMS said: ” We have listened to feedback and we’re looking forward to meeting with farmers, auctioneers and other industry stakeholders across Scotland.
