On Wednesday 17 June, Northumberland’s acclaimed Kirkstyle Inn will host a special one-night tasting dinner in collaboration with Tomás Gormley, one of Scotland’s most exciting young culinary talents.
Gormley, chef-owner of Edinburgh’s Michelin-recommended Cardinal, will join The Kirkstyle Inn’s Head Chef Connor Wilson for an exclusive six-course tasting menu that celebrates seasonal ingredients and a shared commitment to refined, produce-led cooking.
The evening will see both chefs present three dishes each, offering diners a rare opportunity to experience two distinctive culinary styles side by side. The menu reflects a balance of technical precision and creative flair, with dishes including Connor Wilson’s Duck Liver Croustade with fermented plum, asparagus, pumpkin seed praline and oxalis, alongside Tomás Gormley’s Smoked Lobster with Pink Fir potato, yuzu ponzu and chives.

Further highlights include Black Barley Koji with pickled cherry and rose miso caramel from Wilson, and a dessert from Gormley featuring Dulcey chocolate, spiced apple and pickled ginger.
