STACK ’em high: The Secret Sandwich Co. has announced an opening date for the ultimate new sandwich brand in Edinburgh. 

With gargantuan creations that will constantly push the boundaries of what can be done with two slices of bread as the simplest of starting points, the once-humble sandwich will be elevated to some truly remarkable places.


The sandwich brand, which will be exclusively available on Deliveroo beginning Thursday, June 2nd, was created by some seriously cool top secret chefs.


From baguettes and bagels and sourdoughs to sky-high stacks, the great British sarney has been a part of our daily lives since we were old enough to carry a lunchbox. Exploring their culinary imaginations, the team at The Secret Sandwich Co. revealed their menu on their Instagram pages last night. 

Proper, hearty sandwiches include The Captain Hook – Classic Fish Finger sandwich on Tiger Bread, Homemade Tartare, Lettuce & Pickled Gherkins; The Cheese Knees – Melted Cheese lovers heaven on Sourdough, Mozzarella, Gruyere, Compte & Tomato Relish; The Philly Flyer – Classic Philly Cheese Steak served on Ciabatta, Scottish Roast Beef, melted Swiss Cheese, Caramelised onion; The Veggiesaurus  – a Veggie heaven that can also be made vegan served on Ciabatta, Roasted Peppers, Courgette, chilli Hummus, Rocket and The Ruben – Classic Ruben Pastrami Sandwich served on Sourdough, Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese. Prices start from £6.95. 


The Secret Sandwich Co. will be available for delivery only through the Deliveroo app and online and will be open from 11am – 6pm, Wednesday through Saturday.
