Edinburgh’s Bonnie & Wild has teamed up with The Famous Grouse ahead of the upcoming Guinness Six Nations campaign, which kicks off this Thursday when France take on Ireland at the Stade de France in Paris.

The partnership will see Bonnie & Wild become the official venue for The Famous Grouse’s Guinness Six Nations Hospitality Clubhouse, with the Scottish food hall also hosting two exclusive “In Conversation” talks with former Scotland captain Greig Laidlaw and Scottish Gas Murrayfield announcer and TV presenter Caroline Blair.

The partnership follows Bonnie & Wild’s investment in a large state-of-the-art LED screen on which it will broadcast all of Scotland’s games throughout the iconic tournament, starting this Saturday when Scotland take on Italy in Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Throughout the campaign, Bonnie & Wild will be home to a Famous Grouse bar, with the team designing a series of bespoke whisky cocktails such as The Scrum-Half’s Reserve and The Famous No 9 that show off the iconic brand, give a nod to Greig Laidlaw, and accompany the venue’s pioneering cocktail list that also includes a full complement of low and no alternatives.

With a couple of whisky cocktails now inspired by his illustrious career, Greig Laidlaw said: “I’m excited about these two talks taking place during the Guinness Six Nations at Bonnie & Wild, where I’ll be chatting to Caroline about my rugby career as well as sharing my thoughts on the game today, and having a dram or two with guests.

“The first talk follows Scotland’s crunch match against England so I expect that’ll provoke a lively discussion, while the second one on March 12 will give us much more of an overview of the campaign as a whole, particularly as we look to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.”

Kate Russell, Bonnie & Wild’s General Manager, said: “Bonnie & Wild has always had strong links to the Scotland rugby team, and I’m personally delighted that we’ll be showing the games on our state-of-the-art screen, welcoming Greig Laidlaw for these two amazing events, and hosting The Famous Grouse’s Guinness Six Nations Hospitality Clubhouse.

“Unless you were one of the fortunate few to get your hands on a Scottish Gas Murrayfield ticket, Bonnie & Wild will be the best place to watch Scotland’s games, while also enjoying our famous hospitality. We’re well known for championing Scottish food and drink, and it’s fantastic that we can now all watch and cheer on the Scotland team on match days too.”

Karen Daly, The Famous Grouse’s Marketing Manager, said: “For over 35 years The Famous Grouse has brought friends together through rugby, celebrating the pride, camaraderie and shared moments that make matchdays special. This Guinness Six Nations, we’re excited to continue that tradition at Bonnie & Wild, where The Famous Grouse Hospitality Clubhouse will offer a warm, welcoming space for fans to come together over great rugby and great whisky. With ‘In Conversation’ events from Greig Laidlaw and Caroline Blair adding to the occasion, it’s a place to share stories, savour signature cocktails and raise a glass to being together this rugby season.”
