BrewDog is marking Scotland’s return to the international football stage by cutting pint prices across its Scottish bar estate and launching a limited edition beer bundle as part of a wider summer campaign.
For one weekend only, the craft beer brand will offer pints from its Headliner range for £2, a deliberate nod to the average cost of a pint in 1998, the last time Scotland competed at this level. The promotion will run for 72 hours from Sunday 14 June to Tuesday 16 June and will be available on a walk in basis across selected Scottish venues.
Participating locations include BrewDog DogTap Ellon, Castlegate, Merchant City, Edinburgh Lothian Road and DogHouse Edinburgh, with the offer designed to encourage fans to gather and celebrate together.
Lauren Carrol, Chief Commercial Officer at BrewDog, said: “It’s been a long wait. Scotland stepping back onto the international stage is a proper moment, and we wanted to mark it in true BrewDog style, with no complicated mechanics, just great BrewDog beer at 1998 prices and a reason to get everyone together.”
Alongside the discounted pints, selected bars will feature guest taps from Tilray Brands’ US craft beer portfolio, adding an international dimension to the in venue experience and highlighting BrewDog’s connection to a broader global beer network.
The activity extends beyond bars, with BrewDog also launching a limited time online offer aimed at at home matchday occasions. The “Back Since ’98” bundle includes 20 cans for £19.98 and will be available via BrewDog’s website from 12:00am on 12 June until 11:59pm on 15 June.
The bundle features a mix of the brewer’s core range, including Hazy Jane, Wingman, Juice Shack, Cold Beer and Lost Lager.
In addition, BrewDog has released limited edition Tartan Army inspired cans, available exclusively online, further tying the campaign to Scotland’s football identity.
