COCO – The Art of Chocolate collaborates with Glasgow textile studio Timorous Beasties on the design of two new limited edition bars launching on 18 January 2020.

ā€œThe collaboration was very straight forward. COCO has an ethos that I suppose you could compare to ours: in matters of originality and producing a good quality product, in small batches. Clearly their ingredients are not for everyone, which is the same for our products. Our products are not for everyoneā€. Alistair McAuley, Timorous Beasties

ā€œWe have worked with several international artists over the years, but there is something special about joining forces with another creative Scottish brand that shares our passion for innovation in art, in the way Timorous Beasties do. I believe this is the kind of project that places us at the forefront of Scotlandā€™s contemporary food & drink scene and Iā€™m very pleased with the results of this collaborationā€. Calum Haggerty, Director, COCO.

COCO is a leading ethical chocolate manufacturer, sourcing the ļ¬nest South American chocolate from Colombia, to then create chocolate products in their Edinburgh kitchen with a team of passionate chocolatiers.

The brandā€™s affinity with contemporary art & design has made it a key player in Scotlandā€™s contemporary cultural landscape. From Edinburgh, they export their values and passions worldwide. By treating every product as a miniature work of art, COCO has joined the international art conversation; enveloping its chocolates in designs by established and emerging artists, from all over the world.

This exciting collaboration with Timorous Beasties emphasises COCOā€™s status as a forward-thinking brand; one that pushes the boundaries of creativity, supporting the arts as well as ethical values of commerce. The COCO x Timorous Beasties collection will launch on 18 January 2020 and will be available to purchase for Ā£6 as a limited edition from www.cocochocolatier.com
