Duncan Farms, a family-run business based in Aberdeenshire, has announced a further increase in the distribution of its product.
Duncan Egg’s, the company’s traceable and sustainable free-range eggs, will be sold in 23 Co-op stores across Scotland.
The announcement comes just three weeks after Duncan Farms added Sainsbury’s to their list of retailers.
The stores include several new regions for Duncan Farms, including the Isle of Arran and the most northerly Co-op in Lerwick, Shetland.
The inclusion of this new retailer is one part of Duncan Farms’ ambitious growth plans to ensure the company can meet increasing demand for their high-quality free-range eggs.
Rachael Duncan, Duncan Farms’ Vice-Chairman, commented: “It has been such an exciting time for the business as we have onboarded a couple new retailers in quick succession.
“We are significantly increasing our production capabilities across our farms to align with the increased demand and forecast a strong growth trajectory over the next few years.”
Duncan’s Eggs are also available in Morrisons and Sainsbury’s with all eggs fully traceable using the online egg tracker on the Duncan Farms website.
