EDINBURGH-headquartered Parsley Box has received a highly regarded accolade from the Great Taste Awards for its Sticky Toffee Pudding – thanks to the thumbs up from a panel of food experts.
The awards test a range of different recipes with a panel of over 500 experts, who give honest, straightforward and impartial feedback .
Chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers agreed between them that the Parsley Box pudding deserved the highly respected ‘1 star’ seal of approval – and placed it on the list of Great Taste foods.
Judges said: “It’s a dinky little pudding. Light sponge, full on buttery flavour – and very moist. Plenty of sticky toffee sauce which is well balanced and not too sweet. The date is soft and fresh tasting. This is warm and comforting – a light acidity draws you away from the over sweetness.”
This classic British pudding is a favourite among Parsley Box customers, being conveniently available in single portions and pairing deliciously with the brand’s Madagascan Vanilla Custard.
