Goodness Brewing, NOMOQ, and London Craft Beer Festival Reveal Details of Unique Artist Created Can Designs

Goodness Brewing, in collaboration with NOMOQ and the London Craft Beer Festival, is thrilled to announce an exclusive launch party to unveil their latest artist lead collaboration cans.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 31 July, at Mother Kelly’s in Bethnal Green, London.

This launch event is a celebration of innovative brewing and artistry and a unique opportunity to recognise and support the talented artists who have been integral to this project.

Unlike traditional collaborations, the artists have been deeply involved in every step of the creative journey, from conception to final product, ensuring a truly immersive and collaborative experience.

Artist Matt Martin designed one edition of the can with the Goodness Brewery team using an anaglyph technique. This technique achieves a 3D effect by encoding each eye’s image using filters of different colours, typically red and cyan when a user wears special 3D glasses.

A truly unique artistry experience going above and beyond just ‘packaging’.

The second artist, Benny Payne, created the second edition and represented what is inside the can in a flavourful, fresh, innovative beer.

Benny’s signature fruit and bird motifs splashed across a gleaming mirrored surface encapsulated the beer’s flavour as The Goodness head brewer Josh Billington described to him.

NOMOQ’s cutting-edge technology has played a pivotal role in bringing these collaborative visions to life.

Speaking about the designs, Konstantin Schwarzkopf, Head of Design at NOMOQ, commented: “Our mission is to empower brands and breweries to explore the full potential of NOMOQ’s technology.

“Unlike the traditional model of commissioning an artist then taking them out of the product design stage, we wanted our artists involved and contributing at all stages, ensuring the final product is a true representation of their work.

“NOMOQ worked alongside the artists and the creative team at The Goodness to take original art from 2D to 3D, keeping the texture and integrity of the mediums the work was created with.

“NOMOQ’s printed process pushes these cans beyond just function into a truly unique object to be kept and treasured long after the beer has been enjoyed.”
