Continuing a collaboration that spans more than two decades, Hopetoun House has confirmed a five-year extension of its catering and hospitality partnership with Heritage Portfolio at one of Scotland’s most prestigious historic houses.

The renewed agreement will see the specialist events and catering company Heritage Portfolio within Sodexo Live! continue to deliver exceptional food & beverage experiences across Hopetoun House’s private events and large-scale occasions, while investing further in education, conservation and preservation of the estate.

This next phase of the partnership introduces an exciting refurbishment to The Stables Kitchen, a relaxed cafe within Hopetoun House’s restored 18th-century Adam Stables. Offering a counter service menu of homemade bakes and fresh light lunches in addition to a Classic afternoon tea, the space will be adapted to provide greater versatility and support an expanded events offer.

With a shared focus on quality, consistency and service standards befitting the stature of the House, Heritage Portfolio will continue to balance classic menu concepts that respect Hopetoun’s heritage with the operational capability required to deliver complex, high-profile hospitality events and luxury weddings.

The extension is also expected to support the creation of new jobs, strengthening the local hospitality workforce as Hopetoun House Preservation Trust looks ahead to the next phase of this partnership.

Sandy Robson, Executive Director of Heritage Portfolio, said: “Hopetoun House is one of Scotland’s most prestigious and iconic historic stately homes, and it has been a privilege to work within such a remarkable setting for over 20 years. The house’s rich heritage, architectural grandeur and reputation for excellence make it a very special place to welcome guests.

“We are proud to continue this long-standing relationship and look forward to creating many more exceptional experiences. We remain committed to delivering outstanding food, service and hospitality that honours both the history of the House and the expectations of those who visit it.”

Piers de Salis, General Manager of Hopetoun House said: “Our partnership with Heritage Portfolio has been an integral part of how Hopetoun House welcomes visitors and delivers hospitality events for more than 20 years. Extending this agreement allows us to build on a relationship founded on trust, shared standards and a deep understanding of the House and its heritage. As we look ahead, this continued collaboration will support further investment in our visitor offer, including enhancements to the Stables Kitchen, while ensuring that food, service and hospitality remain aligned with the quality and character people expect from Hopetoun.”
