Leading new wave distillery, Isle of Raasay Distillery, are delighted to announce the release of their highly anticipated third edition of their Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Following two sell-out years, this latest expression showcases the island’s signature Na Sia six-cask maturation process and house style, lightly peated with rich dark fruit flavours, but this time with no dilution for maximum flavour sitting at a bold 61.6% ABV.This limited-edition release uses the same unique six cask recipe as The Draam but bottled at a natural cask strength.
Na Sia (meaning ‘The Six’ in Gaelic) is Raasay’s signature cask recipe where peated and unpeated spirit is matured separately in three distinct cask types: Rye Whiskey, virgin Chinkapin oak, and Bordeaux red wine, before being married together to produce their house style.
The result is a lightly peated whisky with an elegant yet powerful profile full of rich dark fruit notes and a well-balanced profile of spice, smoke and sweetness. This release follows the news of Isle of Raasay naming their signature single malt as The Draam, which featured in their first TV campaign in December.
This is the same Raasay Single Malt that whisky enthusiasts have grown to know and love, now crowned with a new name.

William Dobbie, Managing Director of R&B Distillers explains, “We wanted to give our hero whisky a name that reflected its character, and stereotypical names such as ‘signature’, ‘original’ or ‘flagship’ didn’t do the whisky justice. So, we decided to have a bit of fun with it and aptly name it The Draam.
A playful take on the Scottish word for a measure of whisky and our island with too many ‘A’s in its name!”The 2025 Cask Strength release is bottled at 61.6% ABV, non-chill filtered, and naturally coloured, with every drop is distilled, matured, bottled, and shipped on the Isle of Raasay by the small but mighty team.
Co-founder and Master Distiller, Alasdair Day shared, “”For some, the closest you can get to a “pure” representation of a distillery’s single malt is the whisky straight from a cask at the pure, untouched alcohol strength.
“There are very few distilleries that bottle their signature single malt at cask strength so this makes it quite a special release.”
There are 5,500 bottles available worldwide, and the Isle of Raasay Single Malt Cask Strength is available to purchase directly through their website as well as independent retailers for £65 for 70cl
